Architectural Acoustics by M. David Egan is a good reference for large room acoustics basics
Noise Control in Buildings A Guide for Architects and Engineers by Cyril M., Ph.D. Harris seems to be out of print but if you can find a copy it is an excellent book on soundproofing. Hopefully it is out print because a second edition is on the way. Amazon does have a service to find out of print books.
